Ori Zohar

Ori is one of the founders and head of marketing at Sindeo, a startup changing the way we get mortgages today. Ori and his two fellow founders noticed that the $2 trillion mortgage industry is big, complex, and inefficient, regularly leaving customers disappointed. They created Sindeo, a one stop mortgage shop that works with more banks, provides unbiased mortgage advisors to guide borrowers, and streamlines the process with advanced technology. Sindeo is based out of San Francisco, CA and will be expanding to other markets in the near future.

Prior to joining Sindeo, Ori worked in advertising in New York City. During that time, he worked at McCann Erickson, Universal McCann (UM) and Integrated Media Solutions on US and global clients including MasterCard, ExxonMobil, Unilever, Chrysler, Burberry and Coca Cola. At UM, Ori was part of the New Business team that brought in over $3 billion in annual billings. While Ori was at UM, the firm was named Media Agency of the Year.

In the summer of 2010, Ori and a friend created Guerrilla Ice Cream, an ice cream cart with flavors inspired by political revolutions that donated 100% of profits to charity. Their shenanigans were covered by the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, New York Magazine, Vogue and many others. They rubbed elbows with Bobby Flay and taught Blake Lively to make ice cream.

Ori graduated cum laude from University of Maryland, College Park in 2007 with a B.S. in Business with a focus on Marketing. While at Maryland, Ori was part of University Honors, Business Honors and QUEST.
